Photo Tour: New Two Level K-Beauty Shopping Emporium in Chinatown, NYC – Everyday Beauty Lab

Everyday Beauty Lab Photo Tour Store Visit K-beauty Chinatown NYC

OH EM GEE. At the same time I was in the JKNLEE K-Beauty Sample Sale whirlwind, my sister-in-law told me about a new k-beauty store opening in – you guessed it – Chinatown, NYC. When she described to me that it was a huge, two level beauty emporium, I immediately went over there to inspect what might be the BIGGEST K-Beauty/Asian beauty palace in Manhattan now. I was in awe. It was like I was in a less crowded, high-end SaSa in Hong Kong. Everyday Beauty Lab is from the same chain as Everyday Beauty (locations in Flushing and Hester St.) and this mega-store houses everything from premium hanbang skincare, The History of Whoo, to a variety of fun and affordable items such as the Pure Smile “Will You Be A Cat/Dog” sheet masks. Come shopping with me and view my photo tour of 50+ pictures!

(CLOSED) Photo Tour: The Yeon – Chinatown, NYC

The Yeon Mott Street NYC Chinatown k-beauty shopping

(CLOSED AS OF MAY 2017.) The Yeon on Mott Street, Chinatown is one of the newer stores that opened last year and has a variety of sheet masks, skincare and hair care stuffed inside this former Ten Ren Tea shop. Another mega-size Yeon store already sits in Flushing, Queens but it’s not worth an hour+ long train ride unless I plan to haul like a badass. Even though it’s 1/8 of its Flushing branch, it stocks a sufficient amount of products with quite a few non-Yeon products. This store is listed on my suggested route for k-beauty shopping in Chinatown since it’s easily in the same areas as my other favorite stores. Click on to see its full offering!

Photo Tour: Nature Republic – Union Sq. New York City

Another Nature Republic k-beauty brick and mortar store opened last month in NYC’s Union Sq! Yes, there’s already one in NYC’s Chinatown and another in Flushing, Queens but this is a big deal because this store is under management from Nature Republic headquarters in Korea. The stores on Centre Street and Flushing are only licensed and therefore will oftentimes not have the newest releases or even the same sales/promotions. The store is also easily 10x the size of the Chinatown one and conveniently located in one of the most accessible neighborhoods in New York City. I went to their Grand Opening and you can click through to see the entire photo tour and some of my recommendations!

Photo Tour: Amore (Aritaum) Store Visit in Chinatown, NYC

Find Amore Sulwhasoo, IOPE, Laneige in Chinatown NYC

I added another Photo Tour to my NYC Chinatown K-Beauty Shopping Guide! I know the post title is a little confusing – is this an Amore or Aritaum store visit? And since when is there an Aritaum in NYC?!!?! Aritaum is owned by Amore Pacific, the beauty conglomerate in Korea. Think of it as the LVMH behemoth that owns practically 80% of the luxury and mid-level beauty market *don’t quote me on that percentage. Amore carries Amore Pacific’s sub-brands like Sulwhasoo, Laneige, IOPE, Mamonde and of course some Aritaum products. Sadly, the Amore Pacific line can only be found it at Sephora or Bergdorf Goodman’s. Amore is a great testing ground if you’re interested in pH stripping, gift set ogling or color swatching that BB cushion you have your eyes on. Click to see my photo tour!

Event: SK-II 2015 Pop-Up Studio in New York City

SK-II is hosting a Pop-Up Studio in New York City’s SoHo area again from Oct. 3 – Oct 31, 2015. SK-II is launching a new Change Destiny campaign with movie star and spokeswoman, Cate Blanchett. The campaign is really inspiring because changing your destiny is applicable in all areas of your life (something I’m actively doing right now with my career). In terms of your skin destiny, SK-II is empowering women with the knowledge that you can shift the age of your age now. We have the power to reverse the damage, dark spots and wrinkles of your skin if you choose to. The direction of destiny is in our choice to commit to the process and to be educated in the endless amount of options out there. This can all be fun instead of overwhelming, as well as addicting! Click on to see my pop-up studio experience (free goodies, more info and eye candy galore!).
