OMG Lovelies! One of my FAVORITE K-beauty curators is having their 2nd Annual Sample Sale in New York City again! Peach & Lily held the first ever K-beauty Sample sale last August that drew in an epic line around the block and you can read more about my IN-DEPTH, two-day coverage on the blog so you can get an idea of what to expect but honestly I don’t know how they might have changed things except my email tells me there will be MORE products up to 80% off. Brands like Cremorlab, Caolion, Mizon, Kicho, Lagom, and many more will be present! My knees are wobbly just thinking about it! Click to reveal the confirmed date and location! ***I have an UPDATED POST for full sample sale details and photos!***
If you want to make like Beyonce and get an upgrade in the sheetmasking game, then you should start to shop for modeling masks (aka rubber masks) from Korea! Sometimes you just want something different than a regular cotton sheet drenched in serum. After all, it envelops your entire face for 20 to 45 minutes – you should enjoy this time that you’re taking care of yourself. Like dining out, variety is the spice of life and I appreciate all the unique ways I can mask at home thanks to the popularity of Korean beauty. Modeling/rubber masks is more expensive than your typical cotton sheet mask but the results are worth the extra dollars once in a while. This Shangpree mask, available from Peach & Lily, is truly unique in that it doesn’t use the typical water and powder formula, it’s GOLD and that it was developed from a reputable “model spa” directly from Korea. More than just an upgrade in your routine, it’s a straight up premium treatment that was once only available from the hands of an esthetician. Click to read the full review.
Extremely late post but I thought I would do a straight unboxing with booklet page information on this just to have on record. Peach and Lily had their first Seocialite Box last year and it sold out in a day and a half. The second Seoulcialite Box came with almost no warning and sold out in under 6 hours! Peach and Lily gave instagrammers a one day notification on June 29, 2015 that the Seoulciliate Box 2.0 was coming on June 30th. The account said to make sure that you’re signed up to receive their newsletter because a spoiler and the special code would be in their email. The box was worth about $177.50 if paid for individually but with code SBOX2, it was only $49 with free shipping. Because it’s a very good value, referrals codes were deactivated for this offer. Peach and Lily is NOT a box subscription company so this is an extra special treat!

Peach and Lily held the first ever Korean Beauty Sample Sale in New York City last week and I was there for both days – Day 1 as a regular patron and Day 2 as an invited VIP/Press guest during their VIP preview. In this post, I’m writing about my experience on both sides, on both days. If you’re not familiar with what Peach and Lily is, they’re an ecommerce site that curate and deliver the best beauty from Asia and make it accessible for those in search for perfect skin. They carry innovative, hard-to-find brands like MAY-COOP and Cremorlab where even Korean locals have a difficult time searching for.
The Sample Sale advertised that makeup would be $5 each or 5 for $20 as a bundle. The only makeup brands were from Club Clio or Peripera – Club Clio’s younger sister brand – (oh and one highlighter pencil from Oh Shy!). As for skincare, my email indicated savings up to 90% off for brands that included Aromatica, Caolion, IOPE, Mizon, Shangpree, Tony Moly, Son & Park, Lalavesi, Moonshot and MORE! I salivated reading my email over and over again. It seemed too good to be true! Click to see EVERYTHING! (more…)
