Son & Park Beauty Gel Review Cover

By now, if you’re already a big fan of kbeauty you might have already noticed the Son & Park Beauty Water and Beauty Gel as new arrivals at some of your favorite kbeauty ecommerce sites. The Son & Park Beauty Water is already the beloved Holy Grail item for lots of beauty mavens (I love it as well and it won in my Cleansing Water Battle!). Cleansing Water Battle: My Beauty Diary vs Son & Park’s Beauty Water

cleansing water battle cotton pad results

Someone had asked on a beauty forum if anyone has had experience with the My Beauty Diary Ultra Cleansing Water and I actually bought a travel-sized bottle in the summer but never opened it, until now. Naturally the question is usually “MyBeautyDiary-CleansingWater_stockis this worth buying?” There’s a ton of cleansing waters out there like La Roche Posay, Bioderma, Avene, Simple, Vichy, etc, etc. Well I wanted to test the only two bottles of cleansing water I have against each other (and they are both Asian brands) to see if the Son & Park Beauty Water was worth its price tag of $30 or if the My Beauty Diary Ultra Cleansing Water did a fine job for it’s $18 retail price.  (more…)

Peach and Lily First Ever Sample Sale in NYC – Days 1 & 2 Full In-Depth Tour

Peach and Lily held the first ever Korean Beauty Sample Sale in New York City last week and I was there for both days – Day 1 as a regular patron and Day 2 as an invited VIP/Press guest during their VIP preview. In this post, I’m writing about my experience on both sides, on both days. If you’re not familiar with what Peach and Lily is, they’re an ecommerce site that curate and deliver the best beauty from Asia and make it accessible for those in search for perfect skin. They carry innovative, hard-to-find brands like MAY-COOP and Cremorlab where even Korean locals have a difficult time searching for.

The Sample Sale advertised that makeup would be $5 each or 5 for $20 as a bundle. The only makeup brands were from Club Clio or Peripera – Club Clio’s younger sister brand – (oh and one highlighter pencil from Oh Shy!). As for skincare, my email indicated savings up to 90% off for brands that included Aromatica, Caolion, IOPE, Mizon, Shangpree, Tony Moly, Son & Park, Lalavesi, Moonshot and MORE! I salivated reading my email over and over again. It seemed too good to be true! Click to see EVERYTHING! (more…)
