If you read PART ONE of my Urban Outfitters Photo Tour, you’ll know that the Urban Outfitters in Herald Sq, New York City has the BIGGEST selection in Asian/Korean Beauty products out of any other UO in the states. In PART TWO of my Photo Tour in Urban Outfitters, I’d to focus on the Peach and Lily event where CEO/Founder Alicia Yoon gave one on one skincare consultations and a free swag bag. In ADDITION to your purchase, Urban Outfitters was also giving away free gifts with ANY purchase so there were two freebies in one purchase for their one year celebration at Herald Sq – AWESOME.
If you’ve been following me on Instagram then you probably already saw the event highlights already! Follow me for up the minute feeds. Click to read the entire post.
About Peach and Lily
Peach and Lily curates the best brands and products from all over Korea and Japan that use natural ingredients. They are changing the way we access, discover and shop for Asian beauty by providing us an informational and guided shopping experience. Asian beauty products are almost 12 years ahead of skincare innovation than USA-made products and with the industry always 10 steps ahead, it’s hard to keep up with that’s new after snail slime or dragon’s blood. Peach and Lily takes out all the searching and researching for us because they’re on pulse with the newest beauty technology and is our portal to Asia’s best in beauty.

Alicia Yoon and I after my consultation! My skincare goal is to brighten and keep my skin moisturized. I have freckles (which I like) but freckles mean that I have hyperpigmentation from exposure to the sun. This is a harmless cosmetic effect but overtime due to long time exposure, the spots will darken and look bigger eventually become age spots :O Noooo! To start combating this small cosmetic problem I want to find brightening products that will reduce my freckles so that they don’t become age spots when I’m older.
Alicia recommended for my normal to dry skin:
- Aromatica Sea Daffodil Cleansing Mousse
- Be the Skin White Toner, Serum and Cream
- Caolion O2 Bubble Pack, Where is Pore? line
- Mizon Apple Smoothing Gel
I was excited she recommended the Caolion O2 Bubble Pack because it’s been on my wishlist since the bubbling/foaming reaction is so outrageous when mixed in with water and massaged onto your skin. RUNS OFF INTO THE SUNSET WITH MY BUBBLE PORE PACK. I’m glad she said the Bubble Pack was good for my normal/dry skin because I wanted to try the bubbling action (she said to stay away from the Steam Pack because it would be too harsh for my skin type). I went to pick it up from the Caolion display and there was a representative from the brand there to help me! We tried out the tester and she added water that I happen to have from my cup. 50 grams is a small size but it’s good to try it out in small doses to see if something will work for your skin first. That’s why I’m so glad the swag bag also had SAMPLES.
A peek of the Swag Bag! A Mizon Mini 25ml Returning Starfish Cream (Value $10), Mizon Ampoule sheet mask (Value $3) and samples from Mizon and Aromatica! Wow! What a great bag and all you had to do was fill out your skin profile card and see Alicia for your quick consultation while enjoying the drinks and light bites courtesy of UO.
At the Urban Outfitters register, I didn’t know that they also gave you ANOTHER free gift with any purchase! In addition to my Peach and Lily swag, UO was giving away your choice of a Tony Moly Green Appletox Smooth Massage Peeling Cream (Value $16), Tony Moly Red Apply Hand Cream (Value estimated $8 – $10) or two sample sized eyeliners from Ardency Inn in blue and black shades (Value $15). Blown away, I all this swag just for purchasing my Caolion O2 Bubble Pore Pack for $26. Honestly coulda just bought a $6 DHC Cleansing Oil but I really did want the Bubble Pack!
Here is the Caolion O2 Bubble Pore Pack – you can see the exfoliating beads.
This is the mask foaming up on its own once it’s mixed with a little water on my face. I plan to review this fully in a later post. After I removed the mask, I had to ask myself “Where is Pore?” hahaha.
It was a great event. Not too crowded, I didn’t wait too long to see Alicia, I think I was second in line and it was great to see and test products in person at UO, Herald Sq NYC. There were small bites around the store, free white canvas bags and drinks as well. Well done! I’m very happy with my purchase and will have the Be the Skin recommendations in my wish list as soon as my lotions/toners/creams are depleted! And now I have to explain to my Kbeauty expense sheet why I spent during my no-buy! : /
That is so funny! I just discovered your blog and i was totally there as well. It was a great event.
