Today’s the last day for the EPIC $5 sale at Memebox but you must act quickly otherwise items will sell out even as you’re checking out. In the old days when Memebox was shipping internationally, they would feature a few $5 items to lure you in with a great deal. Now Memebox occasionally have blowout sales for the USA but it’s frustrating when these items are only available for a couple minutes before selling out!
I’m on a “low-buy” from now until eternity so I would need a very good reason to impulse buy and this sale was nudging at my wallet. I happen to check at the right time yesterday when fresh stock was uploaded and impulse-bought so quickly I didn’t even know what I really bought – sorry, not sorry. Click on to see my $35 order valued at $223.80. (more…)
For quite a while I’ve been stalking the Peach and Lily website for an incentive to make an online purchase (and now I’m sharing a $10 discount off your $50+ order in my post below). If you’ve ever shopped online around for Korean/Asian Beauty products, you’ll notice that there’s almost always an obnoxious flashy ad banner with a timed special deal or a 1+1 (BOGO) offer to convert a browser into a paying customer. But Peach and Lily is not your typical etailer.
About Peach and Lily
Peach and Lily curates the best brands and products from all over Korea and Japan that use natural ingredients. They are changing the way we access, discover and shop for Asian beauty by providing us an informational and guided shopping experience. Asian beauty products are almost 12 years ahead of skincare innovation than USA-made products and with the industry always 10 steps ahead, it’s hard to keep up with that’s new after snail slime or dragon’s blood. There are less restrictions using new or “weird” ingredients and Asian women are more open to experimentation (if a product does what it claims).
They are introducing brands that haven’t yet entered the American market which differentiates them greatly from other competitors in my opinion. Taking a look at their “Brands” tab, I did not recognize 75% of the brands they carried (Cremorlab, MAY COOP, Shangpree, UKA, Aromatica, etc). In order to stand out in this growing niche market, Peach and Lily is determined the provide products and services that no body else can. (more…)
I came back from Taipei for only 1 week and I had already put in an Asian Beauty haul from Rose Rose Shop (RRS). -___- You would think I was done with shopping but I had a small excuse to fit in a haul. (And my Taipei travel haul to come – it’s impressive).
My boyfriend asked me again if there was anything HE could do for his dark eye circles. While I did find the Petitfée Gold & EGF Hydrogel Eye Patches in Taipei’s local beauty store, 86 Shop, they only carried the eye and spot patch variety and I wanted the full ying and yang eye patch shape. (See the differences below in my post.) (more…)
I subscribed to my first mask subscription service from Beauteque – Mask Maven! (Pronounced “Byoo-tek”.)
What made me pull the trigger and commit to 6 months of service is that this is a mask-only type of subscription. It’s not only sheet masks for your face but some surprises will be for your hair, feet, hands and whatever other areas companies created masks for! Have you seen the crotch mask for your bikini zone from MemeBox? Yea, cool things like that hopefully.
I like this subscription because I don’t feel like I’m hoarding and letting good products like face creams or serums go bad since masks are one-time use and can last as long as 2-3 years since each one is individually sealed. It takes much longer to go through a bottle or jar of cream than it does for a sheet mask. Rip it open, treat yourself for a night and it’s done and served its purpose (well, hopefully)! (more…)
