Beauty Beauty Borders 3b Feb 2016 (9) Cover

I received a second complimentary February 2016 3b (Beauty Beyond Borders) box for review/feedback purposes and I’m so glad to get reintroduced to this $12/month K-Beauty subscription service again! I tried 3b for three months as an unsponsored customer and you can read my prior reviews here in 2015. 3b wanted to get my honest opinions on their new offerings so I tried mostly everything in the bag in the past 2 weeks. February’s bag has a very hyped up product from Benton and Leaders’ most popular sheet mask. Click on to see the all the contents!

Unboxing July 3b (Beauty Beyond Borders) Box – Umm, the Skinfood edition

#b Box July Unboxing Reveal Cover

I got my July bag from 3b Box and everything in this month’s bag was from the popular food-based theme brand, Skinfood. Their company motto is “good food for health is also good for the skin” so they incorporate the ingredients from antioxidant-rich and nutritious foods like broccoli, tomatoes and caviar into skincare and makeup. I think I heard the majority of Instagrammers groan when they saw that this month featured one brand, and a ubiquitous brand in K-Beauty at that. But I’ll dive more into this in the review.

If you’re not familiar with Beauty Beyond Borders, 3b is a new Asian Beauty subscription service – kind of like an Asian version of Birchbox since all skincare and cosmetic samples are from Asia. The service to try 4 – 5 deluxe size samples and costs only $12 a month! At this moment I believe they are only shipping to the USA and there still seems to be a wait list that they are trying to make a dent into. So if you’re interested in trying this out for a cool $12 go to The 3b Box for more info.  (more…)

Unboxing May 3b (Beauty Beyond Borders) Box – Finally off the Wait List!

Alert: There is a new AB (Asian Beauty) Subscription Service on the rise! I’m a new subscriber to The 3b Box – 3b standing for Beauty Beyond Borders. You’ve probably arrived at my page some way, some how because you’re interested in learning more about Korean/Taiwanese/Japanese Beauty and there’s no better way to start diving in by SAMPLING to see what right for your skincare/makeup goals and needs.

3b is a monthly subscription priced at $12/month, shipping included! You get 4 – 5 DELUXE samples in each month with an info card that gives you tips on how to use your new goodies (previously there were some FULL-SIZE surprises!).

According to their website, samples will range from go-to fan favorites like Etude House, Skin Food, Tony Moly to high-end like SK-II, Kanebo, and Sulwhasoo. They even translate the descriptions of each product in order to remove the language barrier to make these great, innovative products more accessible to you – hence their company name, Beauty Beyond Borders.
