ZOMG. This may be one of Club Clio’s best K-beauty sample sales taking place in their New York City, Union Square location. The sale promised Korean beauty products up to 90% off and it delivered. If you didn’t catch my line-blogging on my Instagram Stories, here’s the price breakdown. Most makeup were any 3 for $5, 3 for $3, 3 for $10 or 2 for $1 depending on what they were (I have pictures of it all). Skincare was $10 each or 3 for $10 and it included brands like Goodal, Dr. G, and Sooae but items from the latter two were limited to their Acne lines by the time I got there at 5:30pm. I overheard the new manager, Larry, saying how their product was supposed to last all week long (even though sale dates were posted for a two week duration) but it doesn’t look like it will even last through the next day! Get there early if you’re dead set on getting something! There are tons of lip products left, BB and CC Creams, single eye shadows (no more palettes), but skincare is running scant as Larry was hawking them to people on line, “last serums, 3 for $10, these won’t be here tomorrow”. Click to see my K-beauty haul and the shopping madness.
Location Where:
Club Clio
11 W. 14th Street (Union Sq. b/t 5th & 6th Ave)
New York, NY 10011
Dates: 8/16 – 8/31 (but it might end earlier due to low stock)
Photos!
Peripera: Clio’s cuter, younger sister! Color cosmetics aimed at the younger demo, think 13-21 year olds. I’m way older than that and I proudly tote their products. Biggest fan of their lip products.
Goodal: The skincare line in Club Clio which describes itself as “ferment beauty”. Goodal was one of the first skincare lines I used and still insert into my routine. Their Waterest Lasting Oil is now a cult item however they’ve remade it into the Waterest Toning Lotus Oil which I grabbed to try.
All lip products on this table are 3 for $5
Fav tints are the Lumi Pangs that are a cross between a gloss and a tint.
Those Peripera cushion blushers aren’t worth getting as it’s too sheer. Definitely pick up a fun Peri lippie.
Face mists, phallic cucumber gels, highlighters, Goodal toners. Check for manufactured dates as most were made in 2015. Thats why they’re at sample sale prices.
All Clio Kill Liners (their famous liquid eyeliners) were sold out since the morning. Kill Brow is their brow tinting marker, part of the 3 for $5 deal. Their dual-ended one (with their brow mascara) is part of the 3 for $10 deal.
BB and CC Creams, Peripera Sunscreen, Cushions and colorful eyeliners and eye shadow sticks were 3 for $5. INSANE!!!!
Peripera Peach Sunscreen SPF 50 – Larry had handed these all out to the gals on line! Don’t expect these on the table anymore. Next to it are the Peri Wholly Deep liquid felt liners in brown.
New to me: Peripera Oil-Capture line. Everything on the table was 3 for $5. Don’t buy the Pride Up BB Cushion, I got it at the last SS and it sucks.
Goodal mask sets, 5 sheets inside, normally retails for $30/box.
3 for $3 Table: Peri’s Cushion Lips, Wholly Deep Gel liners (Brown was available), powder eye shadow singles and more Clio lipsticks. Make sure you tell them these are the 3 for $3 table because they got it mixed up with the 3 for $5 items.
Peripera’s Cushion Lips are a matte, mousse textured lip color. I own two but they aren’t a repurchase because lips have to be smooth in order to apply nicely. You really have to use it within a year because mine separated and not usable anymore.
The only brown liners left are from Peripera’s Wholly Deep collection. The pencil liners are gel and leave a jewel-like finish. I like! Wholly Shit!
Clio branded lipsticks. I definitely would have picked some up but I still have a ton from their last sample sale.
3 for $3
2 FOR 1 DOLLAAAAAAAA! Although I’ve seen these same items from last year’s sample sale (and the previous year).
$10 BB Cushion Sets
3 for $10 Shelf. I got the Double Bright Toner.
OMG on the Waterest Water Oil Toning Lotus – I got two. These were on the 3 for $10 shelf. No more Moisture Barrier creams,
$10 each shelf.
$10 each.
The only Dr. G products I saw were for acne (AC Care).
Bodycare on the middle and bottom shelves. 3 for $10 shelf.
3 for $10 shelf
3 for $10. That Sooae clenanser for acne is the only Sooae spotted.
The Goodal Luminant line were also present at last year’s sale. I’d pay attention to the Manufactured Date to make sure not too much time has passed since it was made.
Haul
I restocked on my favorite two colors in the Lumi Pang tints. The Milk Balms are new to me and it leaves a sheer wash of pink and peach. The Touch Pang is also new. I wanted to get more but being realistic, I won’t be able to get to it all. I already own a Clio Gelpresso Eye Shadow stick so I got two more in a purplely-taupe and then one in a brown. I got a bunch of eyeliners to gift to younger cousins and a bunch of Goodal. Total damage was $50!!!! They list the manufactured dates on the bottles which were all around 2015 so be aware that these products have been made 2 years ago. It’s a sample sale for a reason so make sure you’re able to use it up within the next year. Aiite, I’m tired and got work tomorrow. Comment below if you have questions.

Thanks for posting this so quickly!! Gonna check it out today and hope there’s still stuff 🙏
Hello! Is it okay to use the items if the manufactor date is 2015? Some of the products I got don’t say a date, but one of them said 2015.

Hi! Thanks for stopping by the blog! Usually unopened items are good through 2.5 years after the manufactured date. I use this guide from Peach & Lily, look at the chart that tells you BEFORE OPENING a product: https://www.peachandlily.com/blogs/news/57069125-k-beauty-guide-expiration-date-versus-manufacturing-date
Thank you so much for the reply! I really appreciate it 🙂 It’s good to know I still have time to use them!
