I got the complete makeover at the @unicornglow pop-up where they used all of their products on me and the first thing I loved was their medium to full coverage foundation available in 12 shades 🦄. I love the semi-matte finish as it doesn’t feel sticky and simply looks NATURAL and easy to wear. I’ve been wearing it everyday and it’s been a no-fuss, blendable must-have. This makes my morning #makeupreoutine easy-peasy. I’ve tried more expensive foundation brands before that didn’t measure up so this is a real #beautybargain 😍.
Underneath was their moisturizing primer. I normally don’t bother with primer but this step smoothed out my skin for an extra clean look especially during the dry winter months where dry patches sneak up more often. The primer is a lightweight gel texture and made of hydrolyzed collagen, hyaluronic acid 💧and herb extract complex🌿. I still layer this over a serum and emulsion since NYC can reach below 20 degrees F 🥶. This is only $12 at @cvs_beauty!
The foundation uses ceramide, collagen, and hyaluronic acid and it really does hydrate my skin better than other base makeup. There’s a nice pudding texture and it doesn’t crease or look chalky on my skin. I’m shade No. 5 Medium Buff which is such a great match! The makeup artist actually used No. 6, a darker shade, to contour the face and give it more structure. I got both shades in my goodie bag and use the same technique (when I have the time).
