Glow Recipe occasionally hosts K-Beauty masterclasses with Sarah Lee and Christine Chang speaking at the event directly. I remember my first masterclass with them before they ever held their Soho Pop-Up, before they were featured on Shark Tank (they later address their current status with Robert in the Q&A). They held their first masterclass at a hair salon in Ktown where they brought in my favorite celebrity nail artist to speak, Eunkyung Park, creator of Unistella. I’m so proud now to see their masterclasses being held at such a cool and high-tech venue such as Samsung 837 in the trendiest part of town, Meatpacking District. Sarah and Christine have really taken wild strides most notably with their own branded products that pretty much broke the Internet: the Watermelon Sleeping Pack, Watermelon Moisturizer and Blueberry Cleanser. I’m actually quite surprised that these two Girl Bosses are still personally speaking at their masterclasses as I can imagine that they are both quite busy jet-setting and running their business. After all their hard work and rise to success, they both still remember me from their early days (I was able to say a personal hello after the session). See my YouTube video of the event!
