I anticipate the Peach & Lily Sample Sale every year because they have THE BEST deals on mid to luxury K-beauty brands. The sale is one-day only and they don’t tend to announce it with too much lead time (this year, only 5 days ahead and information was at the bottom of a what looked like a normal Monday marketing email). Thanks to the head’s up from beautyandthecat.com, I was able to find it eventually. Don’t think of this as a junky sample sale where products are already expired or dare I say, already used (AHEM 260 Sample Sale). Products aren’t store returns; they are unopened and from experience, expiration dates were very generous, lasting another one to two years (but of course always check!). Admission is free but they request that you RSVP to events@peachandlily.com. From experience, you can still get into the sale even if you didn’t RSVP – they only use it for guest expectancy.
The biggest tip is to LEAVE YOUR PURSE AT HOME! You’ll fly by the bottleneck with bag check if you just bring a wristlet with essentials (phone, money, credit cards, keys (and lip balm? Right, you can just buy one as the sample sale – WUT am I sayin’?).
Pay attention to any pre-launch releases that will have sample sale special prices! Atypical to a real NYC SS, you can find the NEW-NEW Korean Beauty skincare there. Peach & Lily has released newly curated brands at the sample sale (prior to even appearing on their website!)
I was in Greece so I missed their third sample sale but find my second and first sample sale posts for K-beauty stash-porn to hold you over until Friday!
